Enquiries and orders
This website is a catalogue for Flintshire Printing. Browsing or sending an enquiry does not place an order. We discuss your requirements by email and provide a written quotation. The contracting business details, agreed specification, payment arrangements and delivery terms will be included in your quotation or order confirmation before you commit.
Specification and quotations
Your quotation will set out the products, quantities, artwork requirements, applicable taxes and delivery charges, together with any validity period. Please check all details. Production is arranged only after the order and required approvals have been agreed in writing. Changes should be requested by email; any effect on the quotation or delivery will be confirmed before proceeding.
Setup fees and VAT
A £25 setup fee applies per product type ordered, plus VAT. The setup fee is waived for repeat orders. This is a fee per product type, not per individual item. Please include your previous order reference when requesting a repeat order.
Displayed prices and fees exclude VAT; VAT is added to the quotation. Product costs, setup fees, any artwork work and delivery charges are itemised before you agree the order.
Artwork and proofs
Artwork and design work is charged at £35 per hour or part-hour, plus VAT. We agree the scope and estimated time before starting. Artwork time is billed in whole hours, rounding any part-hour up to the next hour. Any additional work is discussed before proceeding.
Only supply artwork, logos, photographs and wording that you are entitled to use. Check spelling, contact details, dimensions and layout carefully before approving a proof. If you notice an error after approval, email us immediately so we can check whether production can be stopped or amended. We will discuss any additional work before agreeing a change.
Images, colours and materials
Display mockups are illustrative examples of printed artwork, rather than an exact representation of every hardware model. Your written specification confirms the model and finish. Screen colours can differ from printed colours. Tell us before ordering if colour matching, a sample or a particular material is essential to your project.
Production and delivery
We use specialist production partners, and some orders may be dispatched directly by them. Flintshire Printing remains your enquiry and order contact. Timings depend on the agreed specification, artwork approval and production availability. A date is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a guaranteed requirement in your written order. Tell us about an event deadline before approving the order.
Cancellation and changes
Email us as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel an order. We will check its production status and explain what can be changed and any reasonable costs already incurred. For consumers, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right generally does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Where a statutory cancellation right does apply, we will explain it before you order. This does not affect rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Faults, delivery problems and complaints
If there is a problem, email us with the order reference, a description and photographs where useful. We will investigate and discuss the appropriate remedy. Do not return products to a production partner without contacting us first. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
